George III Shield Back Dining Chair

Classic Hepplewhite style walnut side chair with an upholstered shield back and seat, the slender cabriole legs and seat rail with shallow carved rococo details of shells and leaves. The foot is enhanced with a finely carved sabot. After an original of c.1770.
