George III Chippendale Mirror with Ho Ho Bird Surmount

Carved in the manner of Thomas Chippendale. This George III Chippendale mirror has a rectangular mirror plate is flanked by simple moulded columns; The sides are richly carved with trees and branches, while the apron is centered by a leaf and fruit carved spray within C scrolls and flanked on each side by balustrades. The cresting is surmounted by a Ho Ho bird standing on acanthus leaves.
