Louis XV Style Marquetry Writing Table

Fine inlaid parquetry and marquetry satinwood dressing/writing table with floral design to the top and geometric patterns to the sides and interior. A lockable sliding top panel reveals a hidden hinged panel to support a book or mirror and a number of hidden drawers. Fine cast brass appliques to the cabriole legs and lions paw sabots. Inspired by an original of the early 18th century designed by Jean Francois Oeben.
